Jay's Blessing

Many family members came out to see Jay for his blessing. The group included Great Grandma Erica, Nona Earlene, Papa Lee, Aunt Carol, Uncle Jeff, and Cousin Lizzy from Nevada City; Cousin Kristin from LA; Cousin Amy and Cousin Matt from Seattle; Uncle Cory and Aunt Jamie from Portland; Cousin Jeff, Cousin Sarah, Cousin James and Cousin Mei; and Aunt Zina from Provo. On the Connelly side many showed up as well! Great Grandma Jerry, Meema Jill, Papa Lynn, Aunt Melissa, Aunt Megan, Uncle Rob, Uncle Reed, Uncle Jeff, Aunt Keri, Cousin Sarah, Cousin Alli, Cousin Dane, Aunt Janet, Uncle Allan, Uncle Roger, Aunt Torri, Cousin Kamryn, Cousin Leslie, Cousin Joe, Cousin Sosha, Cousin Thomas, Cousin Elli, Aunt Trisha, Uncle Alex, and Cousin Josie! Whew! Lots of love! Daddy gave Jay his blessing and it was beautiful! Jay wore this daddy's blue blessing outfit, his Papa Lynn's and daddy's saddle shoes and was wrapped in his Great Grandma Jerry's blanket. Meema Jill bought him some new white socks for the occasion too. So all in all he had something old, something new, something borrowed and something blue! He looked pretty snazzy. We are so blessed to have little Jay in our lives! He is VERY loved!!!! We don't have access to our pictures right now, so we will post one soon!

My first mohawk

Mike's hair had grown REALLY long. We decided to give him and baby Jay a mowhak before he had it cut. Jay is a joy as usual. He's a very happy baby and rarely cries. He's very cuddly and we love him SO much!

Growing and growing...

Baby Jay had his 2 week appointment at the doctor on Monday. He weighed 7 pounds 4 ounces! He's definitely a healthy boy. In the weight category he's in the 30th percentile. He's 22 1/4 inches long and in the 70th percentile for height. He's got his daddies genes!

Sleepy Jay

Jay loves to sleep! Especially during the day :) He really loves when daddy comes home and he can sleep on him.
