Another Halloween in a foreign country :) It was great though. We went trick-or-treating at the embassy and I think Jay took home WAY more candy than he would have in the States. Every office was decorated and gave out candy to the kids. They had so much though that each kid took a huge hand full from every office. The only problem for mom and dad is that the candy is mostly Chilean candy. Not nearly as yummy as U.S. candy. I guess it's probably a good thing in the end.
Chicken little.
Scary face :)
Bgawk!
My little ghost.
Ooooooo!
My little skeletons.
Trick-or-treating.
We only have 2 days left here in Chile. We are going to miss it here but we're excited to get back to the States too. Last night Jay got the stomach flu and threw up for about 4 hours straight :p Mike and I had a "true parent moment" when he first called out to us around 10 pm. We ran into his room because he was crying pretty hard. When I asked him if he felt sick he said yes and I asked, "Are you going to throw up?" Then just like that I cupped my hands underneath his mouth and he hurled right into them. Mike, not wanting it to get on the bed, cupped his hands underneath mine and then allowed me to pass the puke to him then ran into the bathroom and flushed it down the toilet. The love for a child really transcends anything you can imagine. Luckily he's feeling much better today and we're praying with all our hearts we don't get it too. Especially Tuesday night when we board a 9 hour plane ride back to the States. Please no!
