It's getting hot!
The Tucson spring has officially started. For us that means temperatures in the mid 70s to low 90s. It is absolutely beautiful! The few green things around are starting to grow too which makes it even prettier. The Spring in Tucson can't be beat. It was so nice the other day we decided to pull out the swimming pool in the back yard. Here are my two little fishies swimming together. It's so fun that they can play together now.
Cute kids
I love my sweet little ones. Here they are on a lazy Sunday afternoon.
Running so fast!!! Jay's favorite thing to do. In fact, it's the way we started getting him to eat more healthy foods. Now with everything he eats he wants to know if it will make him fast. Every time he's done eating he wants to "take a race" to see how fast he is.
Here are some more pictures of My My.

Happy First Birthday Amaya!
My baby is ONE!!! Wow, what a huge milestone. What an unforgettable, unbelievably fast year. Oh how I love my tiny little girl. She is completely wrapped up in my heart and I cannot imagine life without her now. She makes every inch of me full of joy. I could not be more blessed to have such a perfect, beautiful, happy little baby. I am so grateful to be her mama! She is doing so well - crawling like crazy and discovering new things every day. She loves to play with her brother, especially when he crawls and chases her. Jay is an amazing big brother. He takes care of her and plays with her all the time. She is so blessed to have him! We took Amaya to the doctor for her one year check up and she now weighs 21 pounds 1 ounce which puts her in the 51st percentile. She is 30.2 inches tall putting her in the 83rd percentile. Her head measures 45.3 cm which puts her in the 57th percentile. She is developing normally in every way. To me she is just perfect! Here we are doing a little celebrating on her special day.
So proud of herself standing up :) I think we're going to have a walking baby before we know it!
This is her favorite thing to do... find toys and pop them in her mouth and suck on them while she plays. She never did go for a binkey - everything else seems to work though.
Sibling love.
So happy to be ONE!
Here's the sign I made her.
Time to eat cake!
Ummm... I can do what?
Holy cow, check this out!
Oh yeah, I'm getting the hang of this.
What? Is there something on my face?
Ahhh snuggle, snuggle.
He did it.

I think I'm done.
What a great day!

DAY 2 OF CELEBRATIONS
Present time! Thanks for helping me brother :)

She loves it!

Nonna and Papa and Grandma and Grandpa also sent presents. Of course, Amaya was spoiled as usual!
Amaya especially loved her new "cube" because it had lots of fun things to do. Thanks Nonna and Papa! She also is enjoying her tea set and all the beautiful new clothes.
My My is also loving her new swing - mom and dad are too since it keeps her off the ground and from eating rocks. Jay loves to push her and she giggles when she goes high. She also has a gift card to Toys R Us to pick out another toy. We'll have to go soon!
On Saturday our good friends Chris and Cati and their family came over for lunch to celebrate. Here's the gift they brought My My.

Our other friends Alvina and Rob came over with their baby Aiden for lunch too.
And then it was time to eat cake again.
What a wonderful day for a wonderful girl. We sure love you My My!
