Utah!

We made the long trek back to the States and we are so excited to be with out family in Utah! We miss having Mimi and Martin here, they stayed back in Bogota, but we are so happy to see Melissa, Brookie, Grandma, Grandpa and Robbie! It's been great to meet Rob's girlfriend Kristina too. The kids love Robbie and Kristina!! One of our first stops was the bouncy castle park! We got to hang out with Laura too (Melissa's friend from her mission and a family addition now!). Jay had fun playing video games with his dad and they both loved the bouncy castles and other rides! It's sure fun to be home :)

Soccer

Jay has been taking soccer twice a week after school. All the parents were invited to see the kids play on the last day of the semester. I love how much fun he has and the camaraderie between the kids! Jay is definitely still learning, most of these kids have been playing since they were walking, but he's doing well. Hopefully it will give him a one up and some confidence when we get back to the states anyway ;)

La Granja

Jay had a soccer match over the weekend. Afterwards we went to a cool restaurant called La Granja. Not only was the food great but it was very unique. They had lots of farm animals and even better, several beautiful horses. In the middle of the restaurants they put on a horse dancing show. It was pretty impressive! The horses were gorgeous. The kids loved it!

When I finally get the pictures off my phone I have to blog them. They are usually a bit scattered but the subjects sure are adorable! 

 There's nothing like the pure innocense of a sleeping baby. Jay and Amaya are so in love with their baby sister.

Rock Climbing

Over the weekend we took Jay rock climbing. I had to sit it out with Eva and Amaya but maybe next time I can go too. Jay gets a little nervous about it but seeing Mikaela do it makes him a lot braver ;)

Swimming!

We went back to the military club over the weekend to go swimming with Mimi and Martin. It was a blast! We loved having their underwater camera to take really cool pictures. The kids love having their aunt and uncle here so much. Honestly it's been wonderful for us too. Having two extra people when we have a new baby is no small miracle. It has been awesome to have them to play with the kids and help take care of Eva. We love them so much and are so glad they chose to come stay with us!
