For FHE this week we learned about Enoch the built the city of Enoch. I thought the kids did a pretty good job ;)

Check out Eva... She has 7 teeth now!!

She is such a cutie! I took these while we were  waiting for Amaya to get off the bus. Eva loves to smile at people while they are passing.

Amaya

 Amaya is cracking me up lately with the things she says. We were standing in the kitchen when she saw some chocolate that a friend brought us. She turned to me and in all seriousness said, "mommy did the Holy Ghost give that to us?" Hahaha, nope! Later that day while we were eating ice cream we were discussing the color of everyone's eyes when she said to me, "Ariana's daddy has beautiful eyes!" I guess she has her first crush?

We recently learned about volcanoes and then made one ourselves with a toothpaste tube demonstrating how hot lava spews out of the earth. We also watched a video showing hot lava and the kids were enthrall we. The next day we were driving home from church we saw some protesters and I was telling the kids how lucky we are to have been born in The United States. Amaya said, "mommy when you were born, when you were a baby... there was hot lava." Haha, thanks for listening baby!

What we do when daddy is gone

Mike is gone for 2 1/2 weeks (that includes 3 full Fri-Sun weekends). With three little ones including tiny 9 month old Eva, this isn't easy for me. It's hard to even leave the house sometimes in fear of loosing someone! 3 is a lot different than 2. So this weekend we put a bunch of fun ideas in a hat and took turns choosing. The kids had a blast! This coupled with Jay playing every day with our neighbor Marianna got me through the first weekend. 

We also played a rousing game of marble bowling. I made this up all on my own :) The kids loved it!

Evita Leanna!

My baby girl is almost 10 months old now! She is so much fun. Making more sounds all the time, sitting up and playing so much and even beginning to do a monkey crawl. She's so cute! She is so happy and I love being with her every day. Recently a few more teeth have popped out. I think they're helping her because she is a great eater. I love this girl!
