We arrived in Commezzadura (a tiny town in the Italian Alps) on Saturday night and met the Price's at our hotel. It was a great reunion! It has been over a year since we last saw them and Jay and Kelsey are at just the right ages to play now.
They hit it off immediately and had a great time jumping on the beds, watching movies, chasing each other and playing with cars.
Of course, they also quarreled like siblings, but what can you do? The hotel was perfect since we had a two bedroom apartment with a kitchen. We could all hang out but we still had our own space to sleep. Staying in Commezzadura was very relaxing. We have all done the crazy every-hour-planned-out tourist trips, so just taking it easy and planning as we went was perfect. Especially with 3 kids! It was fun to meet new baby Aiden. He is just adorable and such a good little baby.
Most of the time he could just chill on his own and contentedly watch his hanging toys without making a peep. He is such a sweetheart. Jay loved giving him kisses and petting his head. I'm hoping being around babies will prepare him a little for what's coming ;)
Commezzadura is in the Dolomite area of Italy, a famous section of the Alps known for its beauty.

We did a little hiking around the area keyword being "little" since we had 3 kids under 3. They loved it though and we enjoyed seeing the mountains.

We also had a fun time playing at the playground and jumping on the bouncy house. Ring-around-the-rosy was the game of choice.

Our drive back up to Zurich was an experience on its own. Driving through the Dolomites was very windy, although Jessie and Tally said it was much less windy than the route they took down.
Still, being pregnant on those roads for 3 hours wasn't the easiest thing I've ever done. The views were spectacular though! We stopped off for a picnic at a pretty little lake about half way through our drive.

Kelsey was nearly attacked by geese
and I almost mooned a few people while peeing on the side of the road (no bathrooms in sight) but we enjoyed the lunch, and the break from driving!
Jay and Kels especially enjoyed throwing rocks into the lake.
What a surprise :) After lunch we made our way across the boarder into Switzerland and on to the famous Swiss town of St. Moritz. St. Moritz is the exclusive Swiss resort town for the rich and famous.
It's a very pretty town, and ultra expensive as you would expect. We saw some pretty incredible cars there.
Since we were all ready to get home and there was no way for any of us to buy anything there anyway, we didn't stay too long. Just long enough to see the lake and tour the town a bit. It was a great place for the kids to take a break and run around a little.
After St. Moriz we finally made our way up to Zurich and to the Price's house.

VERY beautiful! I have always wanted to go to Switzerland... and Italy... so I am loving these pictures. I'm glad you made it through the winding roads!
I believe in arranged marriages. Could Jessie and Talley sign papers soon? Kelsey and Jay are such cute little play mates. What a blast. I can't believe you did this trip pregnant though. With three kids under three --what an adventure. Maybe you're ready for triplets?
