Family Dinner # 2 - one's just not good enough!

The day after Thanksgiving we had a second big family dinner. Since we had a traditional Thanksgiving on Thursday, we decided we needed to have an Italian Thanksgiving on Friday complete with Grandma's homemade raviolis and tri-tip! It was a very yummy dinner. After we ate we had fun playing Pit. I won! Jay was pretty intrigued by all the shouting. I love my family!

Bowling

The day after Thanksgiving we went bowling with Jay. It was a lot of fun! We went early enough that we were about the only people in the ally. Unfortunately the bumpers didn't work too well, the ball would barely bounce off the bumper then go back and roll along it until it reached one pin on the left or right (depending on where Jay had thrown it). Oh well! We still had a good time. Somehow I ended up tied to Mike due to my awesome 2 strikes and a spare on the last frame. I'm not sure what happened the rest of the game, but let's just say the last frame was the only one I did well on :)

I mean, come on. Look at my awesome form. How is it I wasn't getting strikes the whole game?

I guess next time I ought to try and copy my mom! She's a bowling shark. Or is it a turkey in bowling?

Family Pictures

Over Thanksgiving we took some family pictures since everyone was going to be home. Unfortunately, my brother ended up getting sick and couldn't make it up, but we still had some nice pictures.

Happy Thanksgiving!

We've had a wonderful Thanksgiving here in California with the family. Everyone made it home except for Cory. He was supposed to come too, but he got sick and couldn't drive up from LA. We sure missed him! Here we are playing outside on Thanksgiving day.

Taking a walk at my parent's house in beautiful Nevada City.

Jay loves to walk Bach - he's Aunt Carol's dog who lives down the street.

My mom and I decorated our Thanksgiving table this year. We had a lot of fun and it turned out so pretty!

My mom actually made the table runner in the middle. Isn't she talented?

This trip is my first time meeting Amy and Matt's new baby Caleb. He and Jay are second cousins. He is SUCH a cutie! We had so much fun playing with him. He's almost 6 months old.

Saying hi to Grandma Great.

I can't believe we're going to have another little one soon! I hope she's as good as Caleb :)

Playing with the ball machine. Caleb was impressed!

Jay sure loves his baby cousin!

Here are all the girls.

And all the guys (minus Jay who refused to take any more pictures).

Happy Thanksgiving everyone!
