Our next stop was the Picos de Europa mountain range. It breathtakingly beautiful. I'll just let the pictures speak for themselves.
We had a wonderful time walking in the woods along the river. 
Jay especially loved throwing rocks. It's hard to see in the picture, but if you look close you can see the rock hurling through the air.
One evening we went up to the top of this mountain and went hiking. It was so beautiful! Jay loved hiking and kept saying, "Hiking like Grandma!" The views were incredible.
On our second day there we took a crazy bus ride up a huge mountain. They only allow buses up from 8 am to 8 pm but the roads are SO narrow and it gets pretty scary when a bus coming down has to pass by. I thought we were going over the side a few times. We made it though, and it was worth it. The sky was clear, the views were spectacular and once again Jay loved hiking.

Oh my goodnness, everything is SO beautiful! And you got some really great photos. It must be nice to be able to travel with Mike again. It probably makes things a lot easier, and more fun too!
