We have been busy moving in the past few weeks. Things are starting to look more organized, in great part due to the fact we had Grandma, Nona and Papa all down to visit to help. The kids loved having them here and we are so grateful they could help. We definitely wouldn't be nearly as unpacked as we are without them. We still have a ways to go though. We will try to post some pictures of the house soon!
Jill came first to help out. Here are some pictures from the initial stages of unpacking.
Snuggle time with grandma...
After Jill left, Nonna and Papa came to town. Here they are a in Sedona before coming to Tucson.
Baby Mymy was so much fun. Her grandparents loved being with her!
Papa and Mymy became fast friends. Papa held her all the time and he loved getting her out of her car seat because she would launch into his arms as soon as she was unbuckled. So sweet!
Jay also had a great time with his grandparents. He is so much fun to play with now and has a wonderful imagination! Jay and Nonna must have played about 50 board games together. Nonna was always up for another round.
Jay sure loves his baby sister. Truly he is the most amazing big brother. He is always taking care of Mymy and never gets angry with her - even when she pulls his hair! His nickname for her is "Tutti." I love it! I don't know where it came from but I love that he named her.
Nonna made a yummy checkered cake for us one night. Papa bought the cake making kit because he remembered his mom making him checkered cakes when he was young. It turned out great! Nice job Nonna :)
