Our third day was spent in Ocho Rios, Jamaica. The island was very pretty and green, and it was so warm!!! We loved it. First we checked out some of the tourist shops and bought a few trinkets.
Jay bought a slingshot and Robbie taught him how to use it :) He thought he was pretty cool!
After shopping we went to a little beach called Discovery Bay (so named because it's the first place Columbus is claimed to have set foot in Jamaica) and splashed around. The water was so warm! We even saw Aunt Jemima.
After the beach we went to the big highlight of the island, Dunn's River Falls!
It was SO cool. Jill and Lynn watched the babies while the rest of us hiked down to the beach along this giant waterfall. Then we hiked 600 feet up through the waterfall! It was amazing. Jay was awesome, he hiked with us! I was so proud of my little guy. He had plenty of help from his aunts and uncles so he didn't feel too scared. The water was really warm and the experience was unforgettable. We did it a second time with Jill and Lynn and it was a little easier once we kind of knew what we were doing. So fun!
