Amaya

 Amaya is cracking me up lately with the things she says. We were standing in the kitchen when she saw some chocolate that a friend brought us. She turned to me and in all seriousness said, "mommy did the Holy Ghost give that to us?" Hahaha, nope! Later that day while we were eating ice cream we were discussing the color of everyone's eyes when she said to me, "Ariana's daddy has beautiful eyes!" I guess she has her first crush?

We recently learned about volcanoes and then made one ourselves with a toothpaste tube demonstrating how hot lava spews out of the earth. We also watched a video showing hot lava and the kids were enthrall we. The next day we were driving home from church we saw some protesters and I was telling the kids how lucky we are to have been born in The United States. Amaya said, "mommy when you were born, when you were a baby... there was hot lava." Haha, thanks for listening baby!
