A ride on the Sugar Cane Train

We decided since Jay is pretty obsessed with trains right now that we would take him for a ride on the Sugar Cane Train (try saying that 10 times fast). The train is a fun little tourist train that takes you up and down the coast. It was originally used years ago to haul sugar cane around the area. It was really neat to see them turn the engine around on the giant turn table. Jay was amazed by the big train, but a little nervous of the loud noises it makes. It is pulled by a steam engine and when the steam is let loose it does get a little noisy. Once he got past his fear though he loved the ride.
Getting on the train with Nona.

Riding with mommy.

Chilling with Papa.

Hanging on tight to Nona.

A collage from our trip. Check out the guy filling the train with water in the upper-middle picture. He splashed us with water while we were watching, to Jay's delight :)

Do you realize it's been snowing here and the 10 day forecast predicts SNOW, SNOW, and more SNOW!? You lucky ducks. To say I wish we were there is an understatement. I LOVE the pics, the one with the water is so cool. It looks like every boys dream - all the trains and colors. It looks like a cartoon. And the one pic of Jay chatting with your dad makes him look SO grown up! Glad you're having fun and not having to miss Mike alone. We miss you guys, keep me posted.
