Lake Tahoe: Bike Ride

One day in Tahoe Nonna, Mike, Jay, Amaya and I took a bike ride along the lake, just like we used to. Unfortunately Cory was sick so they couldn't come. Jay loved riding the little tandem bike attached to daddy's and Amaya was mostly comfortable in the little bike cart. She didn't love her helmet, but she survived.

We stopped by the Pope estate and imagined what life would have been like for the rich back in the late 1800s. Such a neat place!

Of course Jay's favorite part was seeing the little chipmunks. Amaya loved the doggies!

After that we headed toward Rainbow Hatchery to explore the pathways and see the underground aquarium.

Jay was seeing how many seconds it would take this stream to fill a gallon sized can.

Wow, beautiful!

 Throwing rocks, just like brother.

The bike ride was so relaxing. I wish we could do one along Lake Tahoe every day! Of course after biking we stopped at the yummy burger place nearby. We got huge burgers, garlic fries and milkshakes. It was delicious!!!

Did you say garlic fries? Worth the trip to Tahoe...along with the biking, the water, the mountains and family. So fun to get a peak into your trip there. Perfect time of year it looks like. Love those yiddles. Thanks for your efforts in doing blogs! Love you and miss you every day. The house is much too quiet. xoxo
