Tucson

Our first stop back in the States was in Tucson. We had to come back for a week to pack out all our stuff that was left in storage. I am SOOO happy that it is finally on its way! We might not see it until December, but at least it's coming. We had such a fun week. We rented an INCREDIBLE vacation rental through VRBO in Vail. It was ginormous and had a beautiful pool, game room, barbecue area and about 15 patio sets. It was perfect. My mom came down to help watch the kids while we worked on getting everything in order. She was so sweet to help and the kids absolutely loved having Nonna around to play with. And of course she also cooked for us, cleaned up after us and generally made things 100% better. We love you and thank you mama! You are so good to us.

We also invited our dear friends the Seedalls to join us for the week. We love them so much and one of the worst things about moving away from Tucson was leaving them! Jay and Bryson were inseparable all week long. After Amaya and Kayla got reacquainted they had a great time together too. It was the perfect week but it went by WAY too fast. We did plenty of grilling, swimming, playing, ring around the rosy-ing, playing poker (don't ask about the skinny dipping bet - let's just say it's a good thing Jamie was on fire the second night!) and having FUN! We can't wait for the Seedalls to come see us in Colombia. Love you all so much!
