Dear Eva,
You are one! I can hardly believe how fast time has flown. Can it really be that I had you one year ago here in Colombia? You have made your way into my heart and I cannot imagine life without you. You bring so much joy and love into our family. You are perfect and wonderful and your smiles and laughs melt my heart. Thank you for coming to our family. Thank you for your light and your beauty and your wonderful little spirit. You are now "crawling" Eva although we like to call it the Pirate Crawl or the Zombi Crawl. You sit on your little bum then scoot forward with your little left hand and and right foot pulling you along. It's the cutest thing! You absolutely love your brother and sister. Life is always much more fun when they are around. You also love to eat and will pretty much eat anything mom does. No more baby food for you! You can blow a kiss, wave bye-bye, play peek a boo, show me your "sooooo big" and communicate through various use of vowels, consonants, whines, giggles, smiles, cries and squeals. You can also use basic sign language like pointing to your mouth when you want to eat, putting your fingers together to indicate you want more and waving your hands around to show us you are all done. You are also learning to sign you have poo poos. Although sometime you don't tell me in time when you're in the bath. Poor MyMy and Jay! (pssst... your sister used to do it too). Everyone loves you. Especially here in Colombia where your blond hair and lighter eyes (that are slowly turning brown like mom and brothers) are a rarity. You love to be outside and overall you're a very happy baby. Oh how I adore you and love to have you with me during the day. You sleep wonderfully at night, going to bed at 8 and waking up around 6:30. You take 2 good naps every day and get plenty of play time in-between. Happy Birthday my sweet little one that I love so much!!

What a precious baby girl!! How can you already be 1!!
Seems like just yesterday when I held you in my arms for the first time,the day after you were born! How special you are to all of us..your smile is infectious and those big bright eyes radiate such a sweet loving spirit:)
Nonna and Papa love you so so so much adorable Eva Leanna, and Papa is so thrilled too that you gave him such a special present last year when you were born on his birthday!!
